A dark, shared world under a huge moon, where your crimes follow you.
The game
An original online RPG, built by one developer
Marrowvein is an original online RPG (MMO) in development by a solo developer, inspired by classic sandbox online RPGs.
It's one persistent world shared by every player. Fights are full-loot, and the world keeps track of what you do: crimes can have witnesses, the guilty get bounties, and your notoriety follows you. The look is dark and muted, lit by bright flashes of magic.

Features
What's in the world
Marrowvein is still in pre-alpha, so this is the game as it's being built.
-
A persistent shared world
One world, running on a dedicated server, shared by everyone who plays.
-
Full-loot PvP and notoriety
Anyone can be attacked anywhere. Attack or kill the innocent, though, and you're branded a criminal or murderer, with a bounty on your head for anyone to hunt.
-
Crime, witnesses and bounties
Crimes can be seen by witnesses. Track down outlaws and bring back their heads for the reward.
-
Looting and stealing
Gear and items can be looted and stolen.
-
Action combat
Third-person action combat, with magic in the mix.
-
Skills, not classes
Build your character from a variety of skills instead of picking a class.
-
Hired adventurers
Hire adventurers who follow you and fight at your side.
-
Gems
Gems are the currency of value.
-
Risk vs. reward
What you carry is what you can lose. Venture further, carry more gems and fight for better loot, but everything on you is at stake.
